We had record-setting attendance at this year’s picnic as 52 people enjoyed brats, burgers and lots of delicious side dishes and desserts on a really beautiful day, last Sunday July 29. A big thanks to Jeremy “Muskie Hunter” Wehrmann for manning the grill, to Tom at Beaver’s for his very generous donation of food and supplies, and to everyone who helped set up and take down. Randy did a great job putting it all together, and everyone had a good time. Terry Thayer won the 50/50 raffle and kindly donated his winnings back to the Association, and Amy Thayer won free dues for next year.

We had a beautiful day for our annual picnic on Sunday, August 5. Thanks to Randy Roets for organizing it, James Wehrmann for cooking the burgers and brats (6 years in a row!), and everyone else who helped with the tent, brought food, and showed up with smiling faces. And thanks to Beaver’s Resort for letting us party on the lawn! Congratulations to Clayton Lester whose 95th birthday we celebrated, and to the winners of the 50/50 raffle. Jim Hanneman won the grand prize and generously donated it back to the Association, Fred and Joan Sass won free dues for next year, and Donna Roets won a fishing rod and Night Bobby donated by Bill and Nancy Dalpiaz.
