Two things are happening on Wednesday, 10/12/22, that we should all know about. At 3:00 pm there will be a meeting at the Mercer Community Center for people from all the lakes on the Turtle River Chain to organize around the need to control aquatic invasive species that are threatening our waters. This will be a good opportunity to network with members of other lake associations so that we can all work together to fight the threat of Curly Leaf Pondweed and other invasives that are becoming more and more of a problem for all of us.
Wednesday evening the Lake of the Falls Association is having our third annual Fall Get-Together at Beaver’s Resort, starting at about 6:30. OK, our 2nd annual one was back in 2019, but we’re not letting a few germs stop us from continuing the tradition! Come out to Beaver’s for supper or just for drinks and enjoy the company of your neighbors as we say farewell to another great season on the lake. Hope to see a lot of you there!
And here are the minutes of the most recent LOFA Board meeting, held on September 18.
