Wake enhancement sport forum to be held this Wednesday, November 12
The Iron County Land and Water Conservation Department is sponsoring a forum about wake enhancement sports, and associated environmental and safety issues. The forum is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about the potential impact of this new sport on our area lakes. The Turtle Flambeau Flowage and Trude Lake Property Owners Association recently surveyed their members on the subject of wake sports, and has submitted a model ordinance to the Mercer town board for their consideration. Learn about this and more by attending the forum at 6:00 pm this Wednesday, November 12, at the Mercer Community Center, 2648 Margaret Street.
