When the river opens up Di likes to look for waterfowl. They arrived early this year but will they stay?

Open water came early this year

It has been unseasonably warm for this time of the year and the river started to open. Two nights ago we had a thunderstorm that turned into thunder snow.

Yesterday and last night we received about 6 inches of snow. And the river down by us has closed up again.

The trails had been shut down but I saw they were grooming them today.

 

You just had to be there!

Last night’s sunset was one of the most beautiful ones I have seen up here and I have experienced many. These photo’s were taken from my deck looking West and Northwest.                                                                            ENJOY
